Stitching Stories – A Cultural Fabric
We are delighted to launch our brand-new project “Stitching Stories – A Cultural Fabric”, a creative journey of storytelling and textile art designed especially for women in our community.
Through embroidery, stitching, mirror work, and letters, participants will explore heritage, identity, and memories, while building connections and celebrating culture together.
We extend our sincere thanks to Birmingham City Council and the Yardley Neighbourhood Network Scheme (YNNS) for supporting this project and making it possible.
Sessions start: 24th September 2025
Location: Hobmoor Community Centre
Frequency: Fortnightly workshops during term time
Who can join: Open to all women – free to participate.
We look forward to welcoming participants and beginning this creative journey of stitching stories together.
